Cute Boys!

4th of July

We had a fun 4th of July. We went to see fireworks at the base over on the west side. The boys loved it! We also had fun with our own little fireworks in front of our house. We are so looking forward to our trip to the mainland! Yesterday when we were swimming an airplane flew over us and Garrett started yelling "Papa airplane!" He was so sad when he couldn't see it anymore. He knows that he is going to see his Grandparents soon, he just doesn't know that he is the one that's going to go on the airplane!

Tanner Fourth Birthday

Having a birthday the day after Christmas can be a little overwhelming for a kid. Tanner had 2 birthday cakes, and received presents for his birthday throughout the whole month of december. Grandma Hadley and Great Grandma Wheeler threw a great b-day party with a Cars cake. Tanner thought it was so cool. When we got home we had a some friends come over for cake and ice cream. Trampy (Grandpa Wallace) took him to the motorcycle race when we were in CA so he wanted a motorcycle cake. This was my attempt.
When we were getting ready for his 2nd b-day party I asked Tanner how old he was. He looked up at me and said, "five." When I told him no-you're 4 he said, "again." I had to laugh-we were confusing the poor kid by having too many b-day parties. We love our Tanner!
